A GDPR request, also known as a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), is a request made by an individual to an organization for access to their personal data. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), individuals have the right to request a copy of their personal data, as well as other supplementary information, from organizations that process their data. Organizations are required to respond to these requests within one month, providing the individual with a copy of their data, as well as information about how their data is being processed, the purposes for processing, and who their data is being shared with.
